Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. I'm a software engineer from Vancouver, Canada, currently living in Los Angeles, California.
I am one of the founders of Aerostrat where I've spent the last couple years building an enterprise SaaS solution that has enabled our airlines and maintenance organizations to significantly improve their maintenance operations. I am passionate about solving real world problems and I really enjoy working with people to build smart and effective solutions for them.
Aerostrat is a fast growing B2B SaaS company building a complete maintenance planning solution for the aviation industry. Our launch product, Aerros, enables our customers to plan all the maintenance on hundreds of aircraft in a matter of minutes. Our solution helps customers understand the cost and efficiency of their maintenance operations while giving them the confidence to make data-backed business decisions. With over 100% year-over-year growth, we've already made an impact in the industry and our product is being used every day at some of the biggest passenger airlines, cargo airlines, and maintenance operators in the world.
Our tech stack is C#/.NET/SQL Server on the backend and AngularJS/WebGL on the frontend. Please reach out if you're interested in learning more - we're hiring!
As a software engineer on the Microsoft account SDK and platform engineering team, my focus was to develop a rich SSO platform for developers looking to authenticate their users with a Microsoft account. I also worked on the Microsoft Authenticator app on Android.
As a developer in test for the Microsoft account user experience team, my core focus was breaking, refining and improving the user experience of Microsoft's login and account management sites. Our login flows were used by nearly all of Microsoft's products, including Outlook.com, Windows 8, OneDrive, Skype, Windows phone, and Xbox.
Weev was a Vancouver-based start-up aiming to enrich student communication and collaboration on campus. We were in the early stages of developing a web service backend and smartphone applications that would empower students to build meaningful, relevant and immediate connections with those around them. Weev was an entrepreneurial venture spawned from the University of British Columbia's New Venture Design program.
The New Venture Design program is an interdisciplinary (Engineering - Commerce) course with a primary goal of providing students the knowledge and practical experience related to the formation of an entrepreneurial enterprise based on the development of a new product or process. Working in teams of 6 students (3 engineering /3 commerce), the end-target in the course is to produce a viable product prototype and the necessary business plan to ensure its success in the marketplace. During my four month internship at Microsoft, I was a Software Development Engineer in Test tasked with two projects in the Windows Live - Cloud Directory Platform team (now the Microsoft account team).
During my four month internship with Research In Motion (RIM), I was a Software Developer for their BlackBerry Prototype Group. The goal of this team was to develop prototype applications that could showcase unique, experimental features and scenarios utilizing current and upcoming BlackBerry smartphones. Over four months, I designed and developed 6 different prototype applications. Each application was self-driven from the ground up including building a design, developing the application and testing the application for internal release. Although prototype applications are only released internally - they form the foundation for other teams to pick up and develop further into an external feature.
Developed test automation software for Crystal Reports SDK and Server components for SAP's Business Objects team in Vancouver.
